gouache sketch, work in progress
The past week, most of my days were spent doing a lot of editing and fussing around with art in Photoshop. In the mornings, or at the end of the day, I’ve been getting my brush and gouache palette out to work on this tiny little painting.
It’s similarly fussy to the digital work, honestly, but it does feel satisfying to work with real brushes and real paints! It’s not a finished piece – I’m still working on this piece, in hour-or-so increments between other things.
If I were to put a guess on my progress point, I would say that this tiny little piece needs about one more hour-long painting session. Meanwhile, I’ve got a bunch of upcoming new things for sale in my Etsy shop. Stay tuned for more news on both!
