Today I just have a bunch of birds. This time, for technique, I started with a watercolor wash over each of the birds, then topped it with gouache and colored pencil. It’s a technique that I’m really liking right now, because it lets me layer up really intense color nice and quickly.
I like how the blue jay turned out the most, but that’s probably because because he was the most interesting and fun to draw!
