I have been deep in concentration taking and editing photos today. Today’s post is one of the highlights from my stack of items. It’s one of my favorite things that I’ve produced so far – a strange cheeseburger-themed coloring book! These illustrations just show odd, funny scenes with the ubiquitous American sandwich. It’s purely for fun, and I had a lot of fun with the whole project.
Finishing the art was one thing – I actually completed that part last year! The really time-intensive part since then has been figuring out how to transform the ideas into finished objects. But in the last couple of weeks, everything has really come together! I finally have Weird Burger items polished and in-hand.
Right now, I’ve produced three options for these little guys. The classic letter-size coloring book includes all ten illustrations and is staple-bound between fully printed covers. A smaller, half-letter sized notebook has 48 pages total, including all ten illustrations interspersed with ruled pages for writing. Finally, I have a set of postcards, printed front and back to share or send. The postcard collection comes with a mini gift card and a bookmark. Altogether, they came out a lot like how I’d pictured, and I’m proud of them. All three will be available soon.
The great thing is that with these built, editing the Weird Burger art for anything else will be a breeze. Making my next coloring books won’t be nearly as intense, either!
