These two drawings were done in Photoshop this last week between inking sticker sheets. I can only go so long without shading, and since I’ve been stuck to the computer, I recreated a sort of colored pencil on toned paper technique digitally. These two represent two of the four mythological beings of the classical elements, salamanders (beings of fire), and undines (beings of water). Really, I just wanted an excuse to do something with anatomy and soft linework! They aren’t finished drawing, and they aren’t really for anything, but that also probably wont stop me from rounding out the set later with the last two. I’m still hard at work on prototypes, so I am going to need the same sort of “breaktime” work on the side!
