It’s technically the day after Halloween, but that’s not going to keep me from posting today’s illustration. This drawing is similar to the sketchbook exercise from last time, with a yellow-orange and black color palette and spooky-fun vibes. However, I took more time to polish and fuss with the details for this illustration. It took a couple of days to complete last week, and I’d consider this one a finished piece!
It was really satisfying to ink something with such clean lines again, and after all the time I’ve spent away from the desk in the whole moving process, I needed the practice! I think that I’m finished for the moment with this color palette that reminds me of candy wrappers. and onto something more fresh and interesting, and less seasonal. I’ll be back next week with something fresh from the sketchbook.
