I took refuge in my roots at the end of last week while I was trying to make up for lost work on the sketches for my final sticker sheet. I was in no mood to bust out oil paint or anything, but found myself playing in Photoshop instead of working, and this is what happened. I actually really, really like it. It’s based on a reference photo I took last winter that I snapped while I was cleaning around my vanity table. This is it where it ended up after when I left it on Friday, and I think that I’d call it “finished”, except for maybe a few little details here and there.
