When you own neon paints, sometimes you just have to come up with an excuse to use them. My recently purchased jelly gouache palette came with a bunch of really vibrant shades that I wouldn’t normally use on their own, but are great for mixing really saturated colors.
However, I painted a whole page of the sketchbook deep blue on a whim, and I had to try putting some straight-up neon colors right on top. I loved the way that it ended up, even if my tape didn’t come up from the edges very neatly. (It never does.)
