Nanny Silverskin

Drawing of the moon with a strange pensive face and the body of a great bell, soaring over a cloudy night scene with a lake and the outlines of pines beneath and a pair of scissors dangling from her hand.

This drawing is from quite a while back, and frankly I can’t remember exactly what I was thinking when I was drawing it. I do know that this moon-grandmother character doesn’t come from any folklore or story specifically. But here she is, The Moon riding a bell around over the frozen lakes and great pine forests, sharp scissors in hand. You can feel free to make up the rest, as long as she gets to cut three things with the scissors.
