An old needlework pattern for cross-stitching monograms was the inspiration for these fancy decorative capital letters.

I’ve been working on a bunch of typography lately, and today’s post is probably my favorite from the last week. For right now, each letter is just one individual painting in one big file. Soon, I’d like to take my lettering into a vector program like Illustrator where I can edit them a little, and start playing around with building my own font! This may not sound like much, but it’s something that I’ve wanted to do forever. These caps are very fancy, but I’ve been doing so much lettering lately, I actually have plenty more to choose from!
