Market Day: Fiber Arts

Inked in Photoshop

Since I opened my Etsy shop a few weeks ago, I’ve been adding new items like greeting card designs every few days. I’ve looked forward to having the storefront-part for so long now, that I actually have plenty of things queued up to add, and will for a while now!

Meanwhile, I’ve been working on my next long-term project: a series of coloring book illustrations showing detailed scenes of a community market.

Today I wanted to share my latest in that series of drawings. This illustration with a market stall selling yarn, woolens, and needlework supplies, has the two shopkeepers chatting while they work. I decided that their stall was called “Blessed Ewe” because I have a hard time resisting silly puns.

Inked!

This is the 5th illustration for a coloring book with an eventual 24 pages, so I have a while to go on the project, but you can preview more of the finished illustrations on Current Projects page!
