Today, just for fun, I finished this really old little illustration of Eurydice at the gates of the underworld. The big mouth gate is probably my favorite part of the drawing, and gel pen effect is my least favorite part (the flow is just never consistent, no matter what I do). It felt good to just color a giant field of color in blue marker and scribble in a bunch of foliage this afternoon.
