finished illustration, watercolor and digital
I got a Silhouette Cameo cutter a few weeks ago to replace my broken old Cricut machine, and ever since then, I’ve been excitedly coming up with ideas for fun cards that I can now reasonably produce, right here in my studio!
Sneak peak at a holiday popup design
In fact, I got a Christmas design done that I’m really happy with, just in time to post to friends and family this year, but not to put up for sale in the shop… until holiday season 2024.
My flower design, in the meantime, is a card for all seasons, and I’m just about ready to produce the first test cut. The art for this design comes from a watercolor sketch that I started a few years ago. I liked how it turned out, and tucked away for another day.

as the flaps will sit when the card is folded
When I got my Silhouette Cameo machine up and running, I immediately thought of how I had wanted to finish this happy flower design. I finished the painting in photoshop, and added the bouquet-shaped body of the card, with side panels that will fold out to write the card’s message inside.
Keep an eye out here! I will announce as soon as this new greeting card is available, with a link to my Etsy shop.
